This group utilizes experiential learning and is geared toward adolescents (14yo-18yo) experiencing isolation, worries, stresses, self-doubt as they navigate school, relationships, and development.
The aim of the sessions is to use group to examine one's communication and relational patterns (with oneself and others), practice giving and receiving feedback, while relating to one another and supporting each other, and in so doing build self-esteem and relational skills, practice social skills and boundary setting, and identify coping strategies.
This is a support group for teens whose parents are separating or separated.
This group will provide a therapeutic space for teens to process their thoughts and feelings with peers in similar positions. Through group, members may navigate identity, relational boundary setting, relational development, and articulation of one's own voice.
The focus of this group is for members to gain an increased understanding of themselves, their internal motivation, and their relational patterns through their interactions with other group members, in the here-and-now, and learn how what's happening in the group relates to life outside the group.
In the process, members will practice self regulation, empathy, and social skills, such as giving and receiving feedback, boundary setting, making the implicit explicit
This is a process group for young adults whose parents have separated (or are separating).
Members may explore identity development, emotional development, grief, transitional stressors, and intimate relationships.
